Jordy Burrows, the full name Jordy “Jordy” Burrows, is the ex-husband of Natalie Kelly, actress of Fast and Furious, Tokyo Drift, and Dynasty. The couple was together for several years, starting somewhere between early 2018 and mid-2020.

Although it was short-lived, Burrows and Kelly’s relationship provided plenty of material for gossip websites to write about. This included their initial secret tryst, an engagement that went the other way, and theories insinuating their break-up to the point that it actually happened.

Apart from Jordy Burrows’ relationship with Peruvian-born actress Natalie Kelly, there is almost no documentation in the gossip world about Burrows’ history or even profession.

However, he is said to be a DJ and hospitality consultant. The papers also show that he was born in Berowra, Sydney, Australia. The Hispanic actress’s ex-husband is a former pupil of the Asquith Boys High School in Asquith, New South Wales.

Jordy’s LinkedIn further indicates that after graduating from high school, he worked for nine years (from 2004 to 2013) as a general manager at Ryan’s Hotels. In August 2013, Burrows then became the manager of another restaurant, The Bucket List in Bondi, Bondi Beach.

Four years later, Jordy started working at the Bondi Beach Public Bar, again as a manager as well as a licensee.

It Was Nathalie Kelley Who Proposed To Jordy Burrows

Nathalie and Jordy married in April 2018 but ended their union in June 2020.

The Lima-born actress is one of the few who break the norm. Hence, she was the one who landed on the road to go to her then-boyfriend Jordy and asks him to marry her.

A few months after the wedding, the Peruvian-born actress, who grew up in Australia, opened up about her and Brovs’ big day and shared the story of how she proposed to her ex-lover.

In an interview for the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar Australia, Kelly said, “She said, ‘It was very important to me that he be with his lover,

‘He was everything I’d ever wanted in a partner.’

Kelly had recently finished playing Crystal Carrington in Dynasty and was enjoying her time off with Brooks.

The Baker And The Beauty star revealed that after visiting Tulum, Mexico, and Atlanta together, Natalie felt she had found “the one” and decided to ask her to marry her.

They enjoyed a holiday in the hard-to-reach city of Merida, the capital of the Yucatán province with its colorful Mayan and colonial heritage, a four-hour drive west of Tulum.

A month after their holiday in Mexico, Kelly proposed engagement to Burrows. Kelly says she was filming in Atlanta at the time and eventually proposed to him one night at their hotel. At the time, they had only been together for three months.

“It was actually our ordeal driving to Mérida that led me to propose. I knew if he could put up with me tired and slightly hungover on a road trip, not to mention arguing with police about the toll, then he could be my husband,”

admitted the Vampire Diaries alumna. She revealed that there was no planning and not even a ring.

Burrows and Kelly met through a mutual friend a few days before the 2018 New Year in Australia. The latter was on vacation at the time from filming the first season of Dynasty. She had been living in America for the past 13 years.

She once described her ex-husband, Brov, as extremely cheerful, relaxed, easy-going, not overbearing or jealous, insanely kind, and generous.

Kelley And Burrows Had Their Wedding Over The Water

Burrows and Natalie planned their wedding over two months. Kelly said in an interview that both she and Jordy wanted something inconspicuous and nothing over the top. They both wanted it to be in Australia, by the harbor, so they got married at The Island [a floating beach club] in Potts Point, Sydney.

The couple had also decided to spend their future together in Australia. Kelly’s mother did all the flower arrangements for the wedding. Her family sent 200 maracas from Peru as a wedding present.

The ceremony also included performances by samba dancers. Guests included the bride’s friend Jade Yarbrough, as well as Natalia Dynasty colleague Rafael de la Fuente.

Jordy Burrows Separation Rumors Started In Early 2020

Kelly and Burrows divorce rumors began to surface in early 2020. This happened after fans noticed that they hadn’t been on each other’s Instagram accounts for months. However, in April of the same year, Jordy confirmed that they were still very much together.

‘Nathalie and I are still married,’

announced the Australian DJ on social media.

Burrows also said that he was in Australia at the time for family reasons, while his wife had to stay in the US for work. Explaining the absence of each other on their Insta profiles, the DJ said they had made the decision to remove their relationship from the photo-sharing app to preserve their privacy.

Nathalie Kelley Affirmed Her Breakup With Burrows 

Although Jordy himself admitted that everything was fine between him and Kelly, the truth is that the couple did have a falling out.

This became clear when, in August 2021, Jordy’s then-wife Kelly confirmed her divorce from husband Burrows by sharing an Instagram post showing her with her now-boyfriend Andrés Alonso on holiday in Italy.

Burrows’ ex-wife highlighted her affair with boyfriend Andrés Alonso in a series of photos from their holiday in Italy. Natalie posed with her long-haired beauty on the shores of the Bay of Naples.

Kelly and Alonso had also previously appeared together on the red carpet of a UNICEF fundraising event organized by sponsor Luisa Via Roma, a fashion retailer. Kelly and Alonso are said to have been traveling together for at least six months before the Italy gate.

Andres first appeared on Natalia’s Instagram account in January. The post at the time included a photo of Burow’s ex-partner posing with Andrés by a pool in Atlixco, central Mexico.

All the pictures of Alonso started appearing after news broke that Natalia had quietly separated from Jordy. As reported, after her divorce from Kelly, Jordi moved to Byron Bay.
