The marriage of the two lasted from 2000 to 2007 and produced their son Ryder. Now Kate raves about Chris and the unconditional love he showed her.

In the new podcast episode of The World’s First, Kate reminisces about her relationship with Chris. “He was so important to me, to teach me what it feels like to be loved unconditionally,” admits the “Almost Famous” star. The couple would have been very much in love in his time and they “adored each other”. She expresses her gratitude to her ex-husband: “Chris opened that floodgate for me forever. No matter how complicated our relationship got at some point, the most important moment for me was meeting him and understanding what it’s like to be truly loved become.”

Kate Hudson just goes with her gut. “I just jump in at the deep end with everything I do,” explains the mother of three. That’s why she didn’t let herself be stopped when she wanted to get married in her early 20s. She now describes what she was thinking at the time: “I’m in love with him. I won’t pretend that we should wait.” The Golden Globe winner no longer wants to wait with her current fiancé Danny Fujikawa (36), because thanks to Chris she knows what true love feels like!
