It’s getting harder and harder for Judi Dench (88) to do her job! The British actress revealed private information about her health last October. The James Bond star suffers from advanced macular degeneration – an eye disease. As a result, the Hollywood legend can see almost nothing. Now Judi reveals it made it difficult for her to continue acting!

“It has become impossible because I have a photographic memory,” says the 88-year-old on “The Graham Norton Show”. In the past, she benefited from this fact when learning her lines – today the multiple Oscar winner says: “I would have to find a machine that not only teaches my text but also tells me which side it is on.” Nevertheless, the “Shakespeare in Love” actress does not want to give up her passion and wants to continue.

In a previous interview with journalist Louis Theroux, Judi had insisted on not letting her illness get her down, according to The Sun. “I’m not doing much at the moment because I can’t see anymore. It’s bad,” she said, adding that she doesn’t want to give up her career because of that: “I don’t want to retire. “
