This is not how Richard Gere (73) imagined his vacation. The wife of the actor Alejandra Silva (40) celebrated her 40th birthday yesterday! As she showed up online, the blonde celebrated the occasion with her family on the beach in Mexico. Alejandra already indicated that her whole family had been ill before. Her husband Richard in particular was hit harder than previously known.
According to TMZ, Richard was in such poor health that he had to be hospitalized himself. Pneumonia was reportedly diagnosed there and he was treated overnight. Fortunately, he was released the next day. According to the sources, the actor seems to be doing much better now.
Just a few weeks ago, Alejandra’s husband gave some private insights into their relationship in an interview with Extra. In doing so, he revealed that, in his experience, marriage requires a great deal of effort and concern. “So it’s a constant checking to see, ‘Is this working?’ and sometimes it’s not,” the Pretty Woman star explained.
