Alix Bailey was born on 3 February 1967 in Washington, United States of America. She grew up in New Haven, Connecticut, and Italy and was raised by her parents, who were both Italian painters. This is how Bailey came to painting and today she is an enthusiastic painter who started at a young age. She then formally studied painting at Bennington College with Sidney Tilim and Pat Adams. When she finished, she enrolled at the University of Indiana, where she received her Master’s degree in Fine Arts.
