WNBA Career and Net Worth

Her professional career began in 2012 when the Tulsa Shock took her into the overall standings for the fourth time in the 2012 WNBA Draft. Johnson began her rookie season with a very impressive fourth place in steals per game, and in her second and third seasons, she was called up to the Western Conference All-Star Team.

She was on maternity leave for the entire 2015 WNBA season and returned to the next season (2016) just one month later, only to be suspended after a domestic violence incident with Brittney Griner. When she returned after the suspension, Tulsa Shock had moved to Dallas and was renamed Dallas Wings. In November 2016, Glory signed a contract with the Xinjiang Tianshan Deers of the WCBA for the 2016-17 post-season. Is Glory Johnson Gay? Her Twins, Boyfriend

Johnson was married to his WNBA colleague Brittney Griner. Until then, Johnson, unlike her ex-partner Griner, never came out as a homosexual; she simply met Griner, fell in love with her, and the two of them tied the knots.

After their meeting in 2013, the couple announced their engagement in August 2014. Barely a month before their wedding, which took place on May 8, 2015, the couple was arrested by police on April 22, 2015, for physically assaulting each other, both of whom suffered minor injuries after the incident.

They were married one month after the incident, and one month after the wedding the couple announced in June 2015 that Johnson was pregnant and that she would miss the 2015 WNBA season. Surprisingly, Griner filed for divorce the next day, citing infidelity. According to her, Glory Johnson had texted an “ex-beaut” during her engagement and had tried to postpone the wedding several times.

On October 12, 2015, Johnson received twin girls (Ava Simone and Solei Diem) who arrived 16 weeks early. The twins had some health complications, including one that required heart surgery, but on February 1, 2016, they were healthy and able to leave the hospital.

Griner is not biologically linked to the twins, as Johnson was found to have become pregnant through IVF using her egg and the sperm of a donor. The female basketball star has since lived her life after the bitter divorce from her ex-wife and found love with a new boyfriend named Christopher Fry, who lives in Seymour, Tennessee.
