“Everyone told me that if I had kids now, my career would be over,” the Just Give Me A Reason singer recalls on The Zane Lowe Show. Exactly the opposite happened! “Having my first child made me softer for the world,” she explains. It was at this point in time that Pink’s career really took off. “I’ve done a lot of things before that, but that’s when I really started to understand myself, to understand the world and my place in it,” explains the 43-year-old.
Pink herself had a difficult childhood. Because her father was in the military and was very strict in his upbringing.
