Hollywood star Josh Brener was born on October 1, 1984, in Houston, Texas, as Joshua Max Brener. He was born the son of Sharon and Daniel Brener, who raised him in a Jewish household. Although there is little information about his early upbringing, the actor began acting in the sixth grade due to an injury that prevented him from playing baseball. His efforts earned him a Tommy Tune Award, which is usually given to high schools in the Houston area and their students. His starring role in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum earned him the award in 2003.

After his high school education, Brener went to Harvard University, where he was president of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals. He graduated from Harvard University in 2007, studied acting at the American Repertory Theatre, and teaches and trains at Stan Kirsch Studios in Hollywood.

In 2012 he appeared in one of his popular roles as Zack Miller in the television series Glory Daze. Before that, he played the role of the jewelry store employee in Glee, a role we never got to see because the scenes he appeared in were all deleted.

After nearly a decade of active service in the industry, Brener has built a remarkable fan base thanks to his impressive acting skills. He has directed numerous films and television series, including House of Lies, The Big Bang Theory, Workaholics, Welcome to Happiness, The Belko Experiment, Star Wars Rebel, and a host of others not to be left unmentioned. He currently plays the lead role as Nelson “Big Head” Bighetti in the cast of the HBO series Silicon Valley.
