Again, the radio personality was charged with animal cruelty when he killed and roasted a Florida wild boar caught by a professional hunter in 2001, and was released from Clear Channel in 2004 after the station was fined $755,000 by the Federal Communications Commissions for violations on the Bubba the Love Sponge show.
Todd faced another libel suit from Todd Schnitt, a rival disc jockey, over a remark Todd made on the show about Schnitt’s family. Todd eventually won the case, but Schnitt vowed to appeal, but the two parties reached an agreement in March 2013 after 13 hours of negotiations.
