Princess Beatrice of York Bio/Wiki, Age

The Princess of York was born on 8 August 1988 as Beatrice Elizabeth Mary at Portland Hospital in London. Her name, which came as a surprise, was hidden from public view until two weeks after her birth.

Beatrice is the first daughter and first child of the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, (third child/second son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh) and his present ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, who has been in the news since her divorce for the wrong reasons, from bankruptcy to being named in the infamous Panama papers.

But Beatrice only said nice things about her mother, although the tabloid press doesn’t know this. She told interviewers in 2017 that her mother was “probably one of the most misunderstood women in the world”.

Do you wonder why Beatrice’s mother is still allowed to keep her title as a duchess even after her divorce from the duke? Well, the title is hers until she decides to remarry. She’s also allowed to attend official royal functions.

Beatrice’s parents married in 1986 and announced their separation in 1992, before getting a divorce in 1996. The divorce was a chaotic affair, at least with infidelity in both parts the reason for the separation, but the most scandalous scandal that gave the tabloids a big day was a topless photo of Fergie getting sucked on her toes by an American businessman named John Bryan.

Princess Beatrice, born two years after her parents married in 1986, was baptized at St. James’s Palace at Chapel Royal just over four months after her birth.

In 1991, at the age of three, the Princess began her education at the independent Upton House School in Windsor. Four years later she began attending Coworth Park School with her younger sister Princess Eugine, born in 1990.

From 2000 to 2007 the Princess then attended the independent St George’s School in Ascot. Beatrice was the headmistress in her last year of school. She distinguished herself through her academic achievements and received an A grade in acting and a B grade in both film studies and film.

However, Beatrice did not take her GCSE exams until a year after school because she suffered from dyslexia, a disease that remained hidden from the media until 2013 when it became known that she had been diagnosed as early as 1994. Following this revelation, Beatrice became a patron of the Helen Ariel Dyslexia Centre, which had helped her overcome the disease. Beatrice is also a patron of the York Music Society.

Beatrice studied for her first degree at Goldsmiths College, London, and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in History and History of Ideas in the second year of secondary school.

Before graduating from college, Beatrice put her acting skills to work by making her debut film debut in The Young Victoria (2009). Although the role was not speaking, it was enough to make her the first British Queen to appear in a non-documentary film.

The Young Victoria was based on one of her most popular ancestors, Queen Victoria. From her maturing to adulthood, Beatrice has participated in a number of royal events with her grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. Some of these include the traditional Royal Maundy services, which will be held in York on 5 April 2012. She accompanied her father to the United Arab Emirates for an official engagement in November 2014.

The Princess of York has been a great supporter of the charity since her 18th birthday. Among her beneficiaries are children in crisis. Together with Sam and Holly Branson, the son, and daughter of Virgin billionaire Richard Branson, Beatrice founded the charity Big Change. Beatrice is the founder of a consulting firm. She also works for the New York computer software company Afiniti.

Engaged/Fiance

In 2010, Princess Beatrice began a relationship with Virgin Galactic’s businessman and Uber’s former CEO, Dave Clark. Beatrice had met Dave through her cousin Prince William. Unfortunately, they separated in July 2016 after 10 years of being together.

To rub salt in the wound, even more, Clark entered into a relationship with American advertising expert Lynn Anderson in 2016, and only about a year after the date, they announced their engagement on Instagram.

When Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, announced her engagement to her approximately ten-year-old flame, James Brooksbank, in early 2018, the public was quick to point out that Princess Beatrice was the only remaining British queen of marriageable age still single. It is to be hoped that her prince will soon find her.
