Katianna, real name Latonya Coleman, was born Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, who is of African-American descent with roots in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has five children, including Katianna (his first-born child) from two marriages.

Almost all of Zendaya’s siblings are quite private about their lives, so much so that the details of their early lives are just a blank slate.

Katianna’s real name is often confused with Katianna Stoermer Coleman by both people and the media. Her middle name does not contain Stoermer.

Instead, it belongs to Zendaya’s mother, Claire Stoermer. This confusion is so great that people have sometimes even come to believe that Zendaya and Katianna or her other siblings are biologically related.

On the contrary, however, the former Disney star and Katianna are not from the same womb.
