The stars and starlets of the fashion industry pay tribute to Vivienne Westwood (81). During her lifetime, the designer made a name for herself with her offbeat style of clothing. But in December last year, sad news made the rounds: the fashion icon died at the age of 81. At her request, she was buried with her family at the time. Now fashion fans could say goodbye to Vivienne at a memorial service – including Victoria Beckham (48) and Helena Bonham Carter (56).

As reported by the Daily Mail, among others, famous faces of the fashion world traveled to London to pay tribute to the deceased: For the funeral service in Southwark Cathedral, the stars, and starlets wore chains on jackets, checked and patchwork coats, bright pink hair, and leather – a tribute to Vivienne’s iconic punk looks. For example, the former Spice Girls singer opted for a black knit dress, while the Harry Potter star wore a dress in Vivienne’s favorite pattern.

Stars said goodbye to Vivienne shortly after her death. So Naomi Campbell (52) wrote a letter to her late friend, which she published on Instagram: ” You were a force of nature that always encouraged me to keep going and not to give up the things I was passionate about outside of modeling. I feel blessed to have been able to visit you recently and will always carry this memory in my heart.”
