The Gabbie Show Wiki, Family

Gabbie was born on February 7, 1991, as Gabrielle Jeanette Hanna in New Castle, Pennsylvania, as the daughter of a family of seven. Her younger sister Cecilia Hanna, born on June 22, 2002, is an Internet personality, her own niche is MUSICAL.LY, where she is literally known as Cecilia. Gabbie’s sister expanded her reach to Instagram in 2015.

After graduating high school, Gabbie went to the University of Pittsburgh where she was a member of the Sigma-Sigma-Sorority. She graduated with a degree in psychology and communication.

After graduation, Gabbie got a job as a waitress and then moved to Los Angeles, California when she got a job at BuzzFeed. While working for Buzzfeed, Gabbie opened a wine channel The Gabbie show that soon made her a star.

That was in 2014, and Gabbie immediately gave her image a new name and went to YouTube, where she immediately repeated her success with Vine.

In addition to her historical videos, Gabbie publishes pranks, swearwords, vlogs, and challenges on her eponymous channel. By January 2018, Gabbie’s channel has reached over 5.2 million subscribers and over 600 million total views.

Gabbie also owns another YouTube vlog called The Gabbie Vlogs. As the name suggests, she only publishes Vlogs on the channel. The channel has received more than 1.5 million subscribers and 152 million hits.

By 2015, Gabbie began moving into other media. In 2015 she won the fourth season of Dance Showdown alongside her dance partner Matt Steffanina.

Gabbie worked with her YouTuber star colleagues, including Jack Baran, Ricky Dillon, Chachi Gonzales, and Andrew Lowe, on the lip-synch tour Drop the Mic. During the tour, Gabbie showed her charitable side by asking her supporters, called the “showstoppers”, to donate canned food so she could give to those who needed it most.

Her popularity soon brought her non-YouTube appearances. Gabbie subsequently expanded her repertoire to include singing, songwriting, comedy, and writing. Her first standing performance was at an improvisation club in Los Angeles, California.

In July 2017, Gabbie signed an agreement with talent agency CAA to represent her in all areas including television, film, digital content, and partnerships, touring, sponsorship, personal appearances, and publications.

A month after signing the agreement, Gabbie became part of MTV’s social media team, which saw her as one of the backstage presenters for the MTV Video Music Awards. She then became part of the re-launch of Total Request Live, where she served as both a social media correspondent and co-host.

In September 2017, Gabbie released her debut single “Out Loud”, which climbed to #3 on the US iTunes charts. The song was inspired by her first book Adultolescence, which was published on September 19, 2017, and in which she documented her life struggles in a comic and poetic way.

Impressed by the success of her debut single, whose lyrical video on YouTube reached almost 2 million viewers within 24 hours of its release, Gabbie decided to make more music. Her second single “Satellite” was released on November 21, 2017.

Gabbie has appeared in the web series Laid in America and Escape the Night with Joey Graceffa.
