Opera Ball doldrums? Jane Fonda ignored Richard Lugner

Isn’t there a dance? Since 1992, entrepreneur Richard Lugner (90) has been accompanied by a guest of honor to the Vienna Opera Ball every year. In 2003, for example, he had Pamela Anderson (55) at his side – in 2007 he was able to win Paris Hilton (41) for this event. On February 16, 2023, he should actually be accompanied by actress Jane Fonda (85). But this is proving to be a bit more difficult than expected.

For Jane’s arrival, Richard had specially organized a limousine with the name of his guest of honor. “But she didn’t get into it, but took my BMW, which she drove to the hotel,” Richard revealed to Bild. She also did not take part in the contractor’s planned program but went on a museum tour on her own. “I’m not in contact with her at the moment, she doesn’t want that at the moment,” the 90-year-old continued. Will the accompaniment to the ball take place under these circumstances?

Richard also reported that Jane did not know it was an opera ball until she arrived. “I asked her if she would dance with me. She then said: ‘We’re going to the opera, you can’t dance there’,” he reconstructed the conversation.
