As far as that is concerned, he has certainly learned over time to let go of his inhibitions – one thinks. In fact, to this day, Liam is uncomfortable filming sex scenes!
Speaking to Vanity Fair, the 70-year-old admits, “I’ve had to do quite a few sex scenes and I have to be honest that I would have preferred to have left them out. Mainly out of respect for the actresses.” But not only when he himself is part of an erotic scene, but he is also uncomfortable. “I’ll be honest: when there’s a sex scene, I just can’t look at the screen. It just makes me extremely ashamed,” he admits.
Liam also says that he can understand why fellow actor Penn Badgley (36) no longer wants to experience intimate moments in front of the camera. The You star revealed that ahead of season four, he asked the creators of the Netflix series to remove any sexual scenes involving him from the script.
