Finley was born with her twin sister Harper on 7 October 2008 by cesarean section. She weighed about 5 lbs 15 oz, but her twin sister was a few ounces apart. Finley, now 13, and her little sister Harper are Michael Wood’s first child, and twin sister Lisa’s third.

Mary gave birth to her and Harper at Las Robles Hospital and Medical Centre in Thousand Oaks, California. They were delivered at approximately 2:46 p.m. Their grandmother, Priscilla, described their arrival as “a dream come true”.

Sometime after their birth, Lisa told Hello magazine that she had never been happier. The Dirty Laundry singer went on to reveal that Michael and she simply spent their days “looking at Finley and Harper in amazement, soaking up everything and anything they did”.

When Finley Aaron Lowe Lockwood and her sister Harper were just three months old, their mother Lisa told Hello magazine that she really wanted to have twins. But she reportedly struggled for two years before conceiving Finley and her sister.

Maria said that part of the reason was that her blood was too thick at the time and clotted faster. This apparently also caused several miscarriages. In the end, she had to use blood thinners to conceive Finley and Harper.

Explaining her third pregnancy, Maria told People,

My blood was too thick and would clot, which caused several miscarriages. The moment I took blood thinners, I got pregnant.

At the age of eight or nine, Finley and her twin sister Harper allegedly found disturbing pictures and videos on their father Michael’s computer. This allegation was made by Liz while her and Lockwood’s divorce battle was still ongoing in 2016.

In documents filed with the court, the daughter of the “Heartbreak Hotel” singer said she had discovered images on the computer that her daughters had seen before. After seeing them, Maria exclaimed that she was shocked and sick to her stomach.
