This Hollywood star was born in 1973, on the 30th day of December, as Jason Nathaniel Behr. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Patricia Ann Steiner and David Behr. After his parents divorced, he moved with his mother to Richfield, Minnesota, where he attended St. Richard’s Catholic Elementary. He also attended Richfield Senior High School. He has an older brother named Johnny and 2 younger brothers, Aaron and Andrew. He also has a younger half-sister named Alisa Behr.

Jason Behr acting talent first came to light when he attended a school play at the age of 5. When he was 8 years old, he began to appear in theater productions and commercials. As a child, he also worked as a dubbing artist and model and performed repeatedly throughout his school days. His greatest television role was in the sci-fi television series Roswell (1999-2002). His portrayal of the main character Max Evans during the series’ three seasons earned him several award nominations. He was nominated for the Choice TV Actor Award in the 2000 and 2001 editions of the Teen Choice Awards. The talented actor was nominated for the Best Genre TV Actor Award at the 2000 Saturn Awards and was also nominated for the Best Actor on Television Award at the 2001 Saturn Awards.

While his credits continued to shoot up on the small screen, Jason Behr also recorded some credits on the big screen. He made his feature film debut in the highly acclaimed comedy film Pleasantville (1998), in which he appeared alongside Tobey Maguire and Reese Witherspoon. His next role was in the thriller Rites of Passage (1999), followed by an award-winning performance as Dennis Buggit in The Shipping News (2001) alongside Kevin Spacey, Cate Blanchett, and Judi Dench. His performance in The Shipping News earned him the Award for Standout Performance at the 2002 Young Hollywood Awards.

The talented actor impersonated the main character, Doug McCarthy, in the highly successful horror movie The Grudge (2004), starring Sarah Michelle Gellar. He also starred in Man of God (2005) and was the lead actor in the horror-action movie Skinwalkers (2007). He also starred in D-War (2007), The Tattooist (2007), The Last International Playboy (2008), and Senseless (2008).

Despite his brilliant performance in the Roswell series, Jason Behr’s television career took a nosedive in the mid-2000s. He starred in several TV pilots, but none of them saw the light of day.
