What Happened to Tom Bergeron?

Tom made his decision to retire as host of America’s Funniest Home Video AFHV at the end of next season, as his fans know. The end of the AFHV’s current season marks the conclusion of his 25th and 15th cycle with the series, after replacing Bob Saget as host in 2001. Tom’s decision to leave the AFHV was not a dramatic one, but rather a personal decision that was long overdue. The Emmy award winner told E! News exclusively that the 25th year of the series, which coincided with his 15th year as host, had a unique symmetry that he rather liked, and it seemed the perfect time to pass the baton to the next host – whoever that might be.
