Is Clint Eastwood dead? Clint Eastwood is deep in his 80s and approaching the last years of his life, but some people are so eager to report his death that they can’t wait for him to die. Twice, both in 2017, Clint Eastwood was the victim of a hoax.

The first came in May 2017 when a completely fake news site reported that Eastwood died a natural death at his home in Brentwood. Snopes.com, a website known for exposing the death tricks of celebrities, came to the rescue and confirmed that Eastwood was alive and well.

About a month later, in June 2017, another fake message appeared saying that Eastwood had died of a heart attack. From a fake website, CNN-Global News, which looked like the American Cable News Network (CNN), the news was broadcast immediately, as many could not immediately see that the website was fake.

Clint Eastwood Bio

Clinton Eastwood Jr. was born on 31 May 1930 in San Francisco as the son of Clinton Eastwood Sr. (1906-1970) and Ruth Wood (née Runner; 1909-2006). His family moved frequently, as his father was a steelworker and migrant worker.

During his time at high school in Oakland, Eastwood’s teachers encouraged him to take up acting, which he hesitated until 1955 when he returned from his time in the U.S. Army.

He made his debut in an unappreciated role in “Revenge of the Creature” (1955). Eastwood’s big breakthrough did not come until 1958 when he got the role of Rowdy Yates in the CBS series “Rawhide”.

Eastwood first established himself as a film star abroad in Italy after he played the role of the “Man without a Name” in “A Fistful of Dollars” (1967). He resumed his role in the following sequels “For a few more dollars” and “The Good, the Bad, the Ugly”.

Eastwood’s success continued in the 1970s and 1980s. As his career blossomed, Eastwood tried his hand at filmmaking and founded his own production company Malpaso Productions. The 2014 film American Sniper, which he directed, broke the box office record and brought in $349.4 million in the US, making it the biggest release in January. It remains Eastwood’s most successful film to date.

Domestically, Eastwood’s films have grossed at least $1.7 billion. In 1994, he was awarded the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial for his consistent production of high-quality images.

Wife, Girlfriend, Children

Eastwood has had so many women in his life that the number of his children cannot be determined. Even Eastwood himself is not certain. When asked in an interview in 2004 how many children he has, the actor replied: “I have a few”. However, about 7 of Eastwood’s children were legally recognized.

As a habitual womanizer, Eastwood had difficulty bonding with a woman. After meeting Margaret Neville Johnson on a blind date in Los Angeles, Eastwood made Maggie his first wife 6 months later, on December 19, 1953, in Pasadena.

However, while Eastwood and Maggie were still together, it is believed that Eastwood conceived a child with a woman in Seattle. It is believed that this child was given up for adoption.

Maggie, who was a model, did not seem to have enough to satisfy Eastwood when he had an affair with the dancer and actress Roxanne Tunis, whom he met on the set of his hit series “Rawhide”. Clint and Roxanne had a child, a daughter named Kimber Eastwood, who was born on June 17, 1964, as Kimber Tunis.

Although Maggie separated from Eastwood in the year Kimber was born, the media did not learn of Eastwood’s illegitimate child until 1989.

While he remained separated from Maggie, Eastwood continued his romance with Roxanne. Maggie and Eastwood later reconciled in the late 1960s and decided to start a family together. They had two children; Kyle Eastwood (born May 19, 1968) and Alison Eastwood (born May 22, 1972).

Despite Eastwood’s reunion with his first wife, he remained unfaithful to her and in 1978 they became estranged again, with Maggie seeking a legal separation, but they remained legally married until their divorce in 1984. Maggie reportedly received between 25 and 30 million dollars in alimony.

Among the events that led to their separation was Eastwood’s relationship with actress and director Sondra Locke, whom he met in 1972. They played together in The Outlaw Josey Wales (1975) and lived together during the shooting of the film. Locke was also married at the time, although her husband lived somewhere in West Hollywood with his gay partner.

Eastwood and Locke later starred in many films, including The Gauntlet, Every Which Way But Loose, Bronco Billy, and others. Their relationship, however, was not as perfect as their admired chemistry on-screen – Locke had to have two abortions for Eastwood, who, while still living with her, began an affair with stewardess Jacelyn Reeves, with whom he fathered two children; Scott Eastwood (March 21, 1986) and Kathryn Eastwood (born February 2, 1988).

The subsequent separation of Eastwood and Locke was a lengthy and chaotic legal battle that ended in 1996 after Eastwood settled out of court.

The legal proceedings against Locke did not stop Eastwood from researching with women. In 1990 he began a relationship with the actress Frances Fisher, whom he met on the set of the film Pink Cadillac in 1988. Their relationship lasted 5 years and produced a daughter Francesca Fisher-Eastwood (born 1993).

Eastwood began dating the 35 years younger TV presenter Dina Ruiz in 1995. They first met in 1993 when Dina interviewed him about his film “Unforgiven”. Their relationship gained much attention through their marriage on March 31, 1996. She would become the second woman Eastwood would be legally married to after his divorce from Maggie Johnson.

Their daughter Morgan Eastwood was born on 12 December 1996. Dina and Eastwood were separated in 2013 and completed their divorce in December 2014.

After Dina, Eastwood was connected with several other women. In February 2015 he confirmed his relationship with Christina Sandera, who was 33 years younger than him.

Net Worth: $375 million

With this huge number, Eastwood is one of the most successful businessmen in Hollywood. Between 2008 and 2009 alone, he earned an estimated 35 million dollars within one year. Besides the film, Eastwood also earns from other sources – he owns the Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea.
