Speaking to The Daily Beast, the 28-year-old reflected on her childhood without her father, Jack. “Growing up without my dad, I watched in frustration as other celebrity kids seamlessly landed roles or got signed by big agencies,” Tessa explained. She, too, dreams of becoming a respected actress one day – that was indicated to her early on. “My mom filmed me my whole childhood and I literally said, ‘Can I be filmed again?’
She can’t expect tips and advice regarding acting from her father. According to Tessa, Jack doesn’t care about his illegitimate daughter at all. “My mom wanted me to have a relationship with him, but he said he wasn’t interested,” she said.
