Rihanna (34) is still getting used to her new everyday life. The singer welcomed a child into the world for the first time in May 2022 together with her partner A$AP Rocky (34): They had a cute son. After taking a few years off and not performing on stage for seven years, she will appear on the Super Bowl halftime show next Sunday. But balancing work and family is a challenge for Rihanna.

In an interview with Apple Music, the “Diamonds” interpreter chatted about the upcoming performance and the preparations for it. The fact that Rihanna is now a mom makes her job more difficult: “The balance is almost impossible because no matter how you look at it, work is always something that robs you of time with your child. That’s the currency now, that’s what it matters,” she admitted. That’s why she no longer accepts every job: “If you make decisions that you say yes to, it has to be worth it.”

After the Super Bowl show, however, Rihanna is also said to be planning to go on tour again. A source recently told The Sun that she will be “making her full comeback later this year, showcasing her new music on a tour of North America“. So far, however, no details are known about it.
