In 2006, Steve Irwin, the most popular crocodile hunter, lost his life after he was attacked by a stingray that stabbed him several times. After his death, the zookeeper, conservationist, and television star left behind his wife Terri Irwin and two children. Terri Irwin’s Bio
She was born on July 20, 1964, as Terri Raines in Eugene, Oregon. She was raised in Canada with her two sisters by her parents, environmentalists, and wildlife enthusiasts Clarence and Judy Raines.
Even as a little girl, she learned to love animals because her father always brought home injured animals that the family cared for. This led her to found a rehabilitation center for animals. The encounter with Steve became another thing that brought her even closer to wild animals.
She appeared in many animal documentaries, such as The Crocodile Hunter, Croc Files, The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course, The Wiggle: Wiggle Waggle, Eco-Pirates: The Story of Paul Watson, and Kangaroo, among others.
On November 15, 2009, Terri Irwin became an Australian citizen in honor of her husband. She was previously named an honorary member of the Order of Australia in 2006.

Husband And Children
Terri first saw Steve Irwin in 1991, when she was on holiday in Australia at Queensland’s Reptile and Fauna Park. When she saw Steve Irwin, he was in khakis and talking passionately about crocodiles. When she realized that they both shared a passion for wildlife, she introduced herself to him, and, over time, they began dating.
Eight months after they first met, the madly in love couple decided to make it official by becoming man and wife in Oregon on June 4, 1992. When he proposed to her for the first time, Terri revealed that there were many reasons in her head why they shouldn’t get married, but there was something deeper in her that could only say yes.
Their union was blessed with two children, Robert Irwin, and Bindi Irwin. Both Robert, who was born in 2003, and Bindi, who was born in 1998, are now actors. What’s more, they have not strayed too far from what their parents were involved in, having appeared on several television shows about wildlife.
While working on the production of the documentary Ocean’s Deadliest in 2006, Steve decided to get some footage for his daughter’s TV show Bindi the Jungle Girl. He spotted a stingray and decided to film it as it swam away. Unfortunately, the stingray attacked Steve violently with his tail over a hundred times. Although it was thought that he only had a punctured lung, it turned out that he had also punctured his heart, causing him to bleed to death when he urgently needed medical attention.
