For several years, the headlines about the Fantastic Beasts star have not stopped: Among other things, Ezra was arrested twice in March last year, and three months later a protective order was applied because Ezra is said to have administered drugs to a minor. Most recently, the “Maybe tomorrow” star is said to have broken into the neighbors. But despite the countless headlines, Jason stands behind Ezra!
The 43-year-old shared a clip of Ezra’s latest film “The Flash” on his Instagram account: “I’m so excited and proud of this film. I love you Ezra and can’t wait to see your film. ” Jason wrote under the post. His fans were irritated by the post: “Jason, I love you. But to support a film that Ezra is in knowing full well that he will not be held accountable for any wrongdoing, not to mention a crime, is disrespectful on so many levels,” wrote one follower, among others.
After Ezra was sued by a neighbor in October last year for aggravated burglary, the 30-year-old star faced a prison sentence. But as Variety reported last month, he negotiated a deal: Ezra was only given a one-year suspended sentence.
