The incident occurred sometime in 2014. Friel reported a wildfire in Los Angeles. She discovered the shirtless man with a dog and decided to question him. She asked him if he lived in the area. The man without a shirt answered and said:

Courtney Friel was born on April 22, 1980, in Philadelphia, the largest city in Pennsylvania. Friel’s interest in journalism goes back to her high school days. She attended Methacton High School in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

Courtney Friel joined KTLA in 2013. Prior to that, she spent six years with Fox News Channel (FNC). At FNC, Friel was a New York correspondent. She was also a Fox & Friends outfitter and was loved on the Red Eye show. Friel spent her last year as an entertainment reporter for KTTV Fox 11 News in LA.
Prior to Friel’s career at FNC, she was a presenter and reporter for KPSP (CBS) in Palm Springs, California. While hosting “The World Poker Tour” on the travel channel, she was also a co-host of Court TV’s “The Saturday Night Solution.
Friel has worked as a West Coast correspondent for FOX’s America’s Most Wanted and as a field reporter for various media companies. She has been featured on Comcast Cable, Oxygen Channel, GOTV Mobile Television, the syndicated show “Extra” and E! Entertainment was,
But the point, Friel unconcealed that her point job in the anesthetic information was the Primetime Anchor at WBBJ (ABC) in Jackson, Tennessee. According to Friel, her job included filming, editing, and writing her own stories as well as rolling the right foot teleprompter during news broadcasts.
When asked about her first day on live television, Friel would say it started at 4:00 a.m. with a deadly tornado leveling the city and destroying her car.
Friel has interviewed many celebrities and was once nominated for the Emmy Award.

It is well known that Courtney Friel was married to Carter Evans, a correspondent for CBS News. Friel and Evans are to meet in San Diego. They dated for several years and decided to become life partners. That was in 2005.
Many believed that the couple had much in common that would help maintain their marriage. There were journalists and it was a big deal when they worked on the same story.

For reasons best known to Friel and Evans, they divorced in 2016, regardless of the two children they had together.
Friel considers it their greatest life achievement to be a mother to the children. Her son, Cash Hudson, was born in 2011 and her daughter is in 2012. Her name is Cameron Kaiulani.
Since Friel separated from Evans, she has been seen with several men, but it is not sure if she is going out with one of them.
