According to reports from the Daily Mail, Sam’s appearance at the Brit Awards on Saturday almost had to be canceled due to technical problems – after all, the 30-year-old star’s music equipment, which cost more than 550,000 euros, was not working. “The performance might have seemed flawless, but behind the scenes, it was a nightmare. Sam was understandably angry and it was quite tense backstage,” a source told the magazine, adding that Sam’s performance almost had to be deleted.
Even if the performance was rather bumpy, Sam caused a stir at the award ceremony with the red carpet outfit. In a whimsical plastic overall with a latex look, the musical talent strolled down the red carpet for the photographers. Sam finally topped the outfit with a top hat with devil horns.
