“Honestly, it took me a while to get over it,”

Chris Married His Wife Jennifer Herro 

As mentioned, Chris is married to Jennifer (Jen). They married in 1999. Both Chris and Jenna Herro were athletes in college. The couple currently live in Greenfield, Wisconsin.

They welcomed their first son, Tyler, in January 2000. They have two more children, Austin and Miles, who are members of the NBA’s second all-rookie team. Both were born after Tyler.

Even when he was a rookie for the Miami Heat, Tyler was more confident than the average player.

But there is someone who takes credit for the Miami Heat’s No 14’s strong belief in himself. In a September 2019 conversation with the Miami Herald, Tyler and his father, Chris, provided insight into how that confidence developed.

Tyler is no stranger to criticism from fans and players. He also likes to make statements.

Chris admits that he has inspired his son’s self-confidence and says that he has helped his son to know the difference between arrogance and hubris.

“I like to say it comes from me,” says the former high school basketball player. He revealed how he taught Tyler the difference between arrogance and conceit as a child. He allowed his son to have a certain amount of arrogance so that he could play basketball at a higher level. Chris believes that without it, no one could succeed on the court. He also stated that people don’t understand the difference.
