Rebecca And Late Boyfriend Paul Walker’s Relationship

Brick Mansions actors Paul and Rebecca had a brief relationship. They met several years before the former singer became famous in the 2001 film The Fast And The Furious.

Soterosa and Paul had started a relationship when the Glendale-born actor was still relatively unknown after the two met in California in early 1998. It is not clear what led the couple to separate or when their relationship ended, but they were never married.

Some claim that they broke up sometime in late 1999 because of Paul and Rebecca’s numerous arguments over the years and Rebecca’s alcohol problems. On the other hand, some claim that Walker apparently refused to marry Rebecca at the time because he felt he was not mature enough.

It was later reported that he felt guilty about this. In December 2013, Joey Ride himself admitted that he was not a good enough husband to marry Rebecca and even admitted that he had not been faithful to her.

Soteros And Walker’s Daughter, Meadow Walker 

While together, Paul and Rebecca Soteros did give birth to a daughter, Meadow Rain Walker, on November 4, 1998. She was born less than a year after they began their relationship.

Meadow lived with her mother in Hawaii until her early teens. Rebecca and Paul’s only child, Meadow returned to California in 2011 to live with her father.

Rebecca also came to California, but by that time her ex-boyfriend had died in a car accident.

The daughter of her and The Takers actor, Meadows is now an aspiring model married to actor Louis Thornton-Allan. Although Paul’s ex-partner keeps a low profile and stays out of the limelight, she is reportedly still close to Meadows.

Meadows was 15 years old when her father Paul lost his life in a fatal car accident. However, for the past three years, she has lived with Paul after leaving her home in Hawaii, where she was raised by her mother Rebecca.

Rebecca Didn’t Inherit Thing From Paul Walker; The Late Actor Left All His Net worth To His Daughter

As the late actor Paul Walker named his only child, Meadows, as the sole beneficiary of his entire estate in his will, it is unlikely that Rebecca received any money from her former partner.

Not to mention that Soteros was also long separated from the Eight Below actor before his death in November 2013.

According to sources, Meadová inherited Paul’s entire estate. It was initially believed to be worth 25 million dollars, but according to TMZ, it was actually worth 16 million dollars.

Paul Walker’s Mother Fought For The Custody Of Meadow Against Rebecca Soteros 

In the past, Rebecca and Paul’s mother Cheryl had a slight disagreement over who should manage the money of the deceased actor and his daughter Rebecca. This happened sometime after Paul’s death, in the summer of 2014.

According to the 6 January 2014 print edition of Star magazine, Paul’s parents argued at the time that they should be in charge of both because they knew how their son would want them to act.

A source told “E!” in 2014 was told that Maudie and Soteros did not expect Cheryl Walker to go to court.

The source said that although there had been discussions, no one had told [Meadows and Soteros] that they would do so. Rebecca and her daughter first heard about it when TMZ saw it. They both initially thought that Cheryl seeking custody was very disgusting.

When Meadows sought custody, Paula’s mother cited Soteros’ two DUIs as an explanation. Rebecca, on the other hand, said that she should have a say in how her daughter’s father’s assets are distributed. A source then said that Rebecca was also prepared never to let anyone else take care of her daughter.

At the time, Soterosa and her daughter, Meadows, were living in California in a house that Walker had bought for them. Paul’s parents have always had the right of first refusal over their actor son’s property because Rebecca was never married to Walker.

In addition, Paul had stipulated in his will that his mother should take on the role of Meadows’ guardian. Cheryl’s application to the court was therefore in line with his wishes. Moreover, they stated that Rebecca should not be the legal guardian of the then-teenage Meadow.

Cheryl filed court papers requesting custody of then-15-year-old Meadow Rain Walker. Paul Walker’s mother claimed that his teenage daughter Meadow had an alcohol problem at the time. Meadow had moved to California at the time to live near her father, Paul.

TMZ later confirmed that Curley eventually agreed to end the case if Soterosa completed a rehabilitation program. Paul’s ex-partner Rebecca agreed, and Meadows later moved to live with her mother.

Rebecca’s Two Cases Of DUI 

Paul’s ex-partner Rebecca was jailed twice in the past for driving under the influence (DUI) in 2003 and 2013. Soteros pleaded guilty to DUI after being arrested on 18 October 2003 in Newport Beach, California.

She was subsequently required to serve 3 years of probation. According to public documents, Soteros’ 2013 DUI took place in Hawaii. Fortunately, none of the accidents involved minors.

Soterosa’s daughter Meadow occasionally posts on Instagram. Although Rebecca has generally stayed out of the limelight as well as social media. In fact, since the custody battle in 2014, Soteros has become almost a nobody.
