Why Did The Social Media Ban Andrew Tate?
TikTok has disclosed that it has permanently banned an account belonging to Tate as part of an ongoing investigation to remove material that violates Company regulations.
“Misogyny is an evil worldview that is not tolerated on TikTok. The fact that other sites are taking action against this individual is encouraging; we have been removing objectionable recordings and accounts for weeks, a spokeswoman told The Independent.
Nonetheless, the majority of Tate’s famous videos on the network are spread by fan sites and other users.
TikTok is using technology to eliminate duplicates of Tate’s video content from the website, and it is also evaluating new content as it is shared.
Tate was also barred from using Instagram and Facebook. Tate was barred from both platforms, according to a Meta spokeswoman, who referenced the Company’s “Dangerous People and Organizations” policy as justification for the ban.
