Kirk Douglas (103) will not be forgotten. During his lifetime, the American was one of the most successful actors of his time. In films like “Roads to Fame” and “Spartacus,” he had always wowed viewers and even received an Oscar for his life’s work. The Hollywood star finally died in 2020 at the age of 103. On the occasion of the third anniversary of his death, his son Michael Douglas (78) shared moving words – at his father’s grave.

The “Wall Street” star posted a video on his Instagram profile on Wednesday showing him at his father’s final resting place. Catherine Zeta-Jones’ (53) husband thoughtfully looked at the tombstone of Kirk and his wife Anne. “What an extraordinary couple they were. I miss them so much!”, Michael said in the clip, further explaining that he had put together an online exhibition of his father’s pictures with the Douglas Foundation.

On this day, Michael certainly not only remembered his father and his wife – but also his half-brother. Eric Douglas died of drug addiction in 2004 at the age of 46. His father and mother have been buried at his side for the past several years.
