Rajwinder Singh Arrested For Alleged Murder Of Toyah Cordingley
Rajwinder Singh the man accused of killing Toyah Cordingley on a beach in Cairns in 2018 is being brought from India to Australia to go to court.
Seven Police officers escorted him and he got on a flight from New Delhi to Melbourne on Tuesday night.
Rajwinder Singh is expected to get to Melbourne airport around 12:30 pm and then he will be taken to Cairns.
Queensland Police Service showed a video of Mr. Singh being taken onto an empty plane wearing tracksuit pants and a sweater before other people got on.

New Dehil Police arrested him in December and he was on trial for three months before being extradited to Australia.
Police said that Singh worked as a nurse in Innisfail in 2018. He left his wife and kids before coming to Australia in 2018.
Later they found out that Mr. Singh flew to India on October 28 2018 after they discovered the victim’s body.
The extradition brings the case closer to going to court and may give Cordingley’s family some closure.
Many local people who have been following the news about the 24-year-old girl have been supporting her family not just the victim’s family.
Police said that they along with the Australian Federal Police Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department and the Indian government have successfully extradited a man to face prosecution for the murder.
Toyah Cordingley Death Case Update
While walking her dog Cordingley was stabbed and killed at Wangetti Beach north of Cairns. Police said they found her body at the beach’s southern end about 800 meters away from her car.
On October 21 2018 she went to Wangetti beach with her dog Indie because it was her day off.

As the evening came her family got worried because she hadn’t come home. They looked for her near the beach that day but only her dog was there.
Her family reported to the Police that same day and they were very worried and wanted to find her safe and sound.
Unfortunately, her Father found her body in the dunes near the spot where they had found Indie.
The Father of the victim said her injuries were “visible and violent.”
