Is that Pedro Pascal’s (47) hardest role in the truest sense of the word? The actor has slipped into quite a few roles in his career. However, he gained particular notoriety as part of the series Game of Thrones, Narcos, and The Mandalorian. For the Star Wars series, the native Chilean has to throw himself into a very special costume – but that’s not always easy for Pedro!

“It’s like putting on a full body glove with extra weights on it,” the 47-year-old describes his transformation into the role of Din Djarin to Empire. But it’s not just the heaviness of the costume that seems to bother the Hollywood star – but also the significant restriction of vision! Not only can the viewers not recognize any of his facial expressions, but Pedro himself cannot see anything through the mask. “If there’s a hole, I’ll fall in,” jokes the “The Great Wall” star. However, there is also a good aspect to this. “It pulls you into the world so much that the character feels real,” he says.

Fans can be happy: The third season of “The Mandalorian” will be released in March! Die-hard “Star Wars” lovers can look forward to Pedro in his iconic costume again on the Disney+ streaming service!
