On August 8, Olivia passed away at the age of 73. Before that, she fought breast cancer for years and dedicated her life to researching against it. “Olivia has been a symbol of triumph and hopes for over 30 years as she shares her journey with breast cancer,” John wrote when announcing her death on Instagram, emphasizing the huge inspiration the Grease actress had been.
