She doesn’t put up with anything! A few days ago the Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles. Although not nominated, Pop Queen Madonna (64) was still present. The singer had the honor of presenting one of the coveted trophies to Sam Smith (30) and Kim Petras (30) as part of the show. Some viewers then insisted on emphasizing on social media how swollen and artificial their faces looked. Madonna now defended herself against the hate comments!

Via Instagram, the 64-year-old explained that the camera angle made her face look a bit distorted and deformed – and the camera made it look rounder and puffier than it actually is. But that can’t really matter to the people out there, she said. The “Hung Up” interpreter described: “Once again I am caught in the appearance of ageism and misogyny. Unfortunately, that determines the world we live in.”

Madonna is also keen to emphasize another point: “Rather than focus on what I said in my speech about the fearlessness of queer artists like Sam or Kim, people chose to gossip about my face.” Kim became the first transgender artist ever to win a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
