Kim Yugyeom Age and Early Life
Yugyeom was born on 17 November 1997 in Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Both his parents were living in Saudi Arabia at the time, as his father worked there. Therefore, after his birth, his mother moved back to the Saudi Kingdom, where the family lived for a while before finally returning home.
Growing up with an older brother, the GOT7 star attended Donong Primary School and then Migeum Middle School. He received his high school education at Hamlin Arts High School. While there, he studied street dance as his main subject.

His career began in 2014, after becoming part of the JYP alongside other stars such as JB, BamBam, Choi Youngjae, Mark Tuan, Jackson Wang, and Jay Park. Before his career began, his mother is said not to have wanted him to become an idol, although he has what it takes.
JYP is a South Korean entertainment company founded by the singer and producer Park Jin-Young. Kim and other members of the GOT7 are signed to this label. Apart from the band, JYP also manages other stars of the country and bands like Baek A-Yeon, 15&, Nakjoon, Day6, Twice, Stray Kids, and Jeon So-mi.
Kim and another band member, JB, were signed in 2009 before other members made it later. The band released its first EP in 2014 with Got It? In the coming years, the group would release albums such as Identify (2014), which is their first full album release, Moriagatteyo (2016), and Flight Log: Turbulence (2016).
