John Legend (44) reconsiders his motives. The couple had a great reason to be happy a few weeks ago: the singer and his wife Chrissy Teigen (37) welcomed their third child daughter Esti Maxine into the world. But two years earlier the couple had to cope with a stroke of fate – the model lost his baby during pregnancy. Now John is talking about this heavy loss.
The two are said to have received a lot of encouragement for their public handling of the topic as the 44-year-old told Fatherly magazine. “We wanted to share our story with people because we know a lot of other people are going through it too and a lot of people are suffering in silence or feel like it’s something they can’t share with other people” John reasoned and Chrissy’s decision.
The two also revealed how bumpy the road to their own offspring was. “We had to use IVF to have our children” revealed John on The Jennifer Hudson Show. The parents of three have also dealt openly with this topic because they want to encourage other affected people.
