After the split in 2016, things went uphill for one member in particular: Harry has won three Grammys to date and has delivered one hit after the other. Not everyone seemed to begrudge him his success – because Louis was jealous of his ex-colleague!
In an interview with The Times, the musician spoke openly about his past feelings and revealed that Harry’s rise did not come as a surprise. What was going through Louis’ mind at the time? “Envy? Maybe at first when I was trying to get started myself but it’s never healthy to compare your own success to that of others is it?” admitted the 31-year-old. In the meantime the singer has a different approach to the topic: “Nowadays I learn in the moments when it is necessary to develop myself.”
A few months ago Louis revealed to Euphoria Magazine how he feels about being a solo artist. “If I leave the stage after a show and have the feeling that 90 percent of the people there had a good evening then I did a damn good job ” the “Walls” interpreter emphasized at the time.
