The strip had received eleven Oscar nominations – the native Puerto Rican himself, as a feared villain, had cleared the “Best Actor” award. Half a year ago, the sequel to “Joker” was announced, in which none other than Lady Gaga (36) is to be seen in the role of Harley Quinn. Now there is the first picture!
The film’s director, Todd Philips, has already shared the first picture of the couple on Instagram. It shows the two actors Joaquin and Lady Gaga looking passionately into each other’s eyes. The remnants of clown makeup on Harley Quinn’s face also suggest they kissed. At the time of the recording, the cheeky blonde is still an intern in the psychiatric institution Arkham Asylum, where she falls more and more into her patience and madness.
However, fans will have to wait for the new film for a while. Because “Joker: Folie à Deux”, which translates as “madness for two”, should not be released in cinemas until October 2024.
