He worked in the comedy format for a full ten years. After that, he was also a voice actor, including for the Disney film “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”. His acting performance even earned him an Emmy nomination. But now his fans are getting tragic news: Charles has died at the age of 86.

Charles ‘ son John Kimbrough made the sad news known to the New York Times: His father had already died on January 11 in Culver City, California. There is no further information about the circumstances of his death. He is survived by his son, who is from his marriage to actress Beth Howard. The two were married from 2002 to 2015. Like his father, John also pursued an artistic career, becoming the lead singer and guitarist for the indie rock band Walt Mink.
