Just one year later, her efforts paid off: the native American got her first role in a film. The actress then gained worldwide fame with “A Million Years Before Time”. Numerous films and years later, the sad news is now doing the rounds: Raquel has passed away.
As TMZ has learned, the 82-year-old is said to have passed away this morning after a short illness. This was announced by the actress’ family. What Raquel suffered from and whether the disease is the cause of her death is not yet known. It is also unclear whether she was in the hospital or at home at the time of death.
Raquel has been married four times in her life. Her last marriage to Richard Palmer came to an end in 2004. The actress leaves behind two children: Thanee and Damon Welch. The two come from the 82-year-old’s first marriage to James Welch.
