A possible return depends only on him,” said the former kicker. Born in Argentina, he is one of the “best players in history”, which is why FC Barcelona’s goals are always open to him. It is not yet clear where Leo will end up. He is also rumored to have been offered a contract extension with his current club Paris St Germain.
Lionel and Xavi already know each other from the soccer field. The Spaniard himself played for Barcelona until 2015 before moving to Al-Sadd Sports Club from the desert state of Qatar. Xavi ended his active sporting career in 2019 and was then first employed at Al-Sadd as head coach before returning to Barcelona.
