The Obama family has made a lasting impression on the United States of America and their two daughters have been no exception. Despite the intense public scrutiny that comes with being part of the first family Barack Obama’s daughters have held their own and will certainly not go down as some of history’s worst first children. With their historic exit from the White House now complete this article was long overdue to honor them for all they’ve accomplished during such an iconic period in American politics.
His parents on the other hand unfortunately didn’t get the chance to see him rise to power but we still want to know something about them. In a way, this is a journey into the past and the future. Today we begin in the future with the theme of Barack Obama’s daughters.
Barack Obama’s Daughters
It is no easy task to be the daughter of the most powerful man in the world and we bet Malia and Sasha can tell you that. For eight years the girls have grown up in public while still trying to lead a private life… Confusing as it may sound we all agree that they have been successful to some extent.

The first is Malia Ann Obama who was born on 4 July 1998 while her little sister Sasha Obama was born on 10 June 2001.

Barack Obama’s Daughters; Malia Ann Obama
She was just ten years old when her father entered the office what a thrill and fright for the then-young Malia. Since then the world has watched her blossom through the media into the young woman she is today.

With her mother, the very lovable Michelle Obama as her role model Malia certainly has very big shoes to fill in the future (no pressure there). After all, we should surpass our parents in terms of success, shouldn’t we? Well, the daughter of this president is already on the right track.

Recently, the daughter of two well-known parents has achieved a major milestone in her educational career. After graduating from Sidwell Friends School, she was accepted to Harvard University – an esteemed university that has seen many presidential children before her. Despite their high profile status, her parents have worked hard to ensure that both she and her sister experience as normal a childhood as possible.

This teenager was unlike most, as she learned to drive with the help of the Secret Service. Additionally, she and her sister shared a pet and had dinner together every evening – all of which are not typical activities for teenagers. Nevertheless, this family is anything but normal; their unique circumstances set them apart from other families.

Malia and Sasha have been named two of the 25 most influential teenagers of 2014 they are not really in social media or “out there” but they have created a niche for themselves when it comes to teenagers and the world. Yet Malia is still Daddy’s little girl and the former president himself called her “one of my best friends”.
Sasha Obama
Sasha has a lot of people curious to see what her next step is. As reported by Yahoo News, she stands out from the rest of her family as the only one who has not taken an exam, raising questions about what she will do in the future. It remains to be seen where Sasha’s path leads her and how it will differ from that of her sister and parents.

President Obama has made it clear that his daughter, Malia, will remain at Sidwell Friends School until she completes her secondary education. This statement was made during a visit to Milwaukee in March of this year while he was out meeting with voters. It is evident that the former first family plans to stay in Washington for the duration of Malia’s schooling.

We will have to stay a few years so Sasha can finish school and transfer to someone in the middle of high school. Hard to take. Sasha attracted a lot of attention recently when her absence was noticed during her father’s farewell speech. The Twitter-sphere was kind of crazy for a moment people suggested all sorts of reasons.

Sasha Obama couldn’t make it because she’s at home and planning her 2040 campaign @taylortrudon tweeted. @CelineBesman took a more humorous path and said Sasha Obama: “Can I get Tuesday night off my father gives his valedictory” manager: “Only if you find someone to take your shift.

Upon further investigation, it became clear that the cause of the second Obama daughter being at home studying for an upcoming exam was her attending high school.
