This talented journalist was born in Mexico City on November 22, 1985, under the birth name Antonietta González-Collins, the daughter of her mother, María Antonieta Collins, who was a powerhouse during her time as a journalist. Her mother is also known as an award-winning journalist and writer with some 7 bestsellers. Almost nothing is known about her biological father, as her parents were supposedly divorced sometime in 1992.
Her mother later married a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo, who became her stepfather, but unfortunately, he died of kidney cancer in 2006. The journalist is said to have an older sister, who is apparently her only sibling, as no other siblings have been linked to her.

Antonietta spent her childhood days in Mexico City, where she completed her high school education. As an athlete, she was so good that she earned a spot on the Mexican U19 national football team. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Antonietta began her professional career in journalism with a focus on sports after graduating in 2007. Since she has a flair for language – it is said that she has been bilingual since the age of 9 – it was an advantage that she got her first job at Univision in Miami, where she worked as a production assistant.
While working in Miami, she had the chance to work with top producers who produced programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, and Primer Impacto. She later received an offer from CBS for the position of sports reporter in one of its St. Petersburg branches, which she accepted.
When the lady moved to Texas in 2009, she worked for the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 and the Fox News team as a news reporter, sports, and weather presenter. Antonietta has undoubtedly established herself as an outstanding sports journalist who has covered the ALDS, ALCS, and World Series of Major League Baseball, the Dallas Cowboys, the NBA postseason, and finals, Dallas FC, and the Dallas Stars.
It was in 2013 that this outstanding journalist caught the attention of the popular ESPN network, and in September of that year, she was recruited as part of the digital team, where her responsibilities included sports news moderation and analysis of sports news videos.
