Allison Holker a talented dancer known for her versatility was born in Anoka County, Minnesota. She spent her childhood in Orem, Utah where her passion for dance blossomed. After graduating from Timpanogos High School in June 2006 Allison’s dance journey truly took off.

Starting dance at just nine years old she trained at The Dance Club in Orem mastering contemporary tap ballet and jazz styles. By the age of 14, Allison had already performed on the world stage dancing in the 2002 Winter Olympics’ opening and closing ceremonies.

Her talent didn’t go unnoticed. In 2004, she won her first national competition at Co DANCE. A year later she earned the prestigious title of National Senior Outstanding Dancer from the New York City Dance Alliance. Allison Holker has been in several cool gigs! She danced with Earth Wind and Fire at the 2002 Olympics and in High School Musical movies. She also did commercials made it big on So You Think You Can Dance and went on tour with the show. Plus she worked on a show called Ballroom with a Twist and danced with Clay Aiken.

Holker was in Christina Perri’s “Jar of Hearts” music video and was one of Demi Lovato’s backup dancers in 2011. She’s taught dance at workshops all over and even did choreography. She was a backup dancer on The X Factor USA and did a routine on Dancing with the Stars with tWitch.

In 2013, Allison Holker a dancer from “So You Think You Can Dance” and another dancer from the show Stephen “tWitch” Boss got married at a winery in California. The winery was owned by Nigel Lythgoe who’s a producer and judge on the show.

They have two kids together a son born in 2016 and a daughter born in 2019. Before marrying Boss, Holker had a daughter with someone else but Boss later adopted her.

On December 14, 2022, it was announced that Boss had died by suicide the day before.
