Dennis Rodman is a former U.S. NBA star who during his active years played for the Detroit Pistons, the Chicago Bull, the San Antonio Spurs, the Dallas Mavericks, and the Los Angeles Lakers. Rodman was a very strong and fierce defender during his playing time, with strong rebounding skills that earned him the nickname “The Worm”.

Dennis Rodman was a member of the New World Order (nWo) and fought alongside former professional wrestler Hulk Hogan at beach events, first against Lex Luger and The Giant in 1997 and against Diamond Dallas Page and Karl Malone in 1998.

Dennis Rodman Relationship With Kim Jong Un And North Korea
The former winner of the NBA and Celebrity Championship Wrestling Tournament, who is close to US President Donald Trump, also refers to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un as his friend. This unexpected friendship began in 2013 when Rodman and Ryan Duffy (vice media correspondent) visited North Korea for the first time to host basketball exhibitions hosted by Kim.
Kim reportedly loves basketball and grew up in the 1990s watching Rodman’s team, the Chicago Bulls, play. After the epochal visit in 2013, Dennis Rodman described Kim as a friend for life and suggested that former US President Barack Obama call the leader to some peace talks because of their shared love of basketball. He also told Sports Illustrated that it was his job to break the ice between the two hostile countries and that he felt it was up to him to smooth things over.
Since the 2013 visit, Rodman has made several more trips to the Asian country with his approach to basketball diplomacy. The last time he visited the country was in June 2017 and Good Morning Britain reported that he was with Kin all the time and that they laughed, sang karaoke, and did many other cool things together, like skiing and horse riding.

An appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert revealed trust as the thing that kept his relationship with Kim Jung Un going throughout those years. He added that he does not discuss politics with Kim, but that he hopes to open the door for political discourse with him soon and tell him that the US does not want war.
His Role In The US-North Korea Summit
Dennis Rodman’s bromance with the Korean head of state has left many wondering what role he would play at the US-North Korea summit on June 12, 2018, as the former NBA player is scheduled to meet with Kim before the summit in Singapore.
It is not very certain what role he will play at the summit, but political analysts believe Rodman could play a very important role in the negotiations between the two leaders with whom he is known. Rodman had praised the two leaders in March 2018 for their decision to finally meet. When asked if he would like to accompany Trump on the trip, he said he would be happy to do so if asked.
The summit, which took place on June 12, 2018, at the Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island in Singapore, was the first in history between an incumbent US president and a North Korean leader.
