At least that’s what an insider said to Radar: The businessman is said to have gotten on his knees in front of Jen on his 50th birthday in April last year! “They wanted to officially announce their secret engagement,” the source reveals, adding that they “were even willing to send out wedding invitations.” But suddenly the 50-year-old is said to have had a change of heart: “Jennifer thought about it and realized that she was in no hurry to step down the aisle and marry John .”
The insider also stressed that while Ben Affleck’s (50) ex is “madly in love” with her John, she still wants to temporarily put the wedding plans on hold: ” Jennifer adores John and still sees a long-term future with him. But im Right now they just want to appreciate what they have, without an official label.”
