In the romance film, Priyanka plays the protagonist Mira, who sends romantic text messages to her deceased fiancé’s old phone number. While she doesn’t know there’s a new person behind the number, she lets her friend talk her into dating again. The YouTube trailer shows none other than Nick Jonas playing Mira’s date. In the scene, the two are sitting in the car in the rain and he starts kissing Mira in a rather uncoordinated and bad way. Mira feels visibly uncomfortable and lets him understand: “Let’s take things slowly.”
Nick’s cameo gets a lot of laughs as he’s kissed Priyanka countless times and he doesn’t even meet her mouth in the scene. It was apparently edited into the trailer due to the entertainment factor of the scene. Normally, cameo appearances are not advertised in order not to take away surprise from the audience.
