In a long Instagram post, the 69-year-old actually writes about how filming the series “Remington Steel” brought him to America. In 1984, however, the set had to move to Europe due to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles. A photo that he published shows him standing in front of a castle in his role – Ashford Castle in Ireland. Casually but totally romantically, Pierce mentions, “Little did I know then that one day I would marry the love of my life, Keely Shaye, at Ashford Castle… August 4th, 2001.”
How in love the native Irishman is with his wife has often been shown by the Hollywood star in the past with cute posts on the Internet. On the wedding anniversary, he congratulated his beloved on Instagram: “Happy anniversary, my dear Keely, we danced that night and are dancing the dance today.
