Sad news from the football world. Ryan Keeler was an American defensive football player. The athlete initially played on his high school team in Illinois before moving to the University of Nevada in Las Vegas to study. He had also continued his football career there and played seven times as a freshman on the college team. Now Ryan’s death has been announced.

The University of Nevada said in a statement that the 20-year-old passed away on Monday. “We are devastated to have lost a member of our Rebel family,” said UNLV football head coach Barry Odom tonight. Their condolences go out to Ryan’s family with whom they mourn the loss the statement said. There was no information on the cause of death so far.

The network is also dismayed by the newcomer’s early death. “Long live Ryan Keeler who left us far too soon. Words fail me right now. I will always love you brother” wrote a user on Twitter sharing pictures and videos of Ryan.
