As we mentioned above, Kessinger met her then-lover while working together at Anadarko Petroleum. At the time, Kessinger worked in the environmental department and Watts as an operator. She told the Denver Post that Watts, along with other operators, always waited in the office break room before going to work. But Nichol never spoke to him.
Later, in mid-June 2018, Watts himself came to her office lounge, and it was there that the two met. At the time, although Watts was still married to his then-wife Shanann Cathryn Rzucek, he had not put on a wedding ring, which made a positive impression on Nichol.

Chris Watts Gave A Heart-Warming Interview Before Being Arrested For The Murders
Watts gave a very heartfelt interview before admitting to murdering his wife and daughters in cold blood. He said he had an emotional conversation with his wife before her disappearance.
In an interview with NBC News, Chris said, “Even now, I don’t feel like it’s real. It’s like a nightmare I can’t wake up from. The realization that they could be in trouble is shattering.” He also spoke about his three and four-year-old daughters in an interview with Denver7, saying: “My children are my life. I think those smiles light up my life.”
Nichol’s boyfriend was found guilty of murder by the criminal police and sentenced to life imprisonment.
Chris Watt was arrested on 15 August 2018 for the murder of his pregnant wife Shannon and daughters Bella and Celeste. He was found guilty after an interrogation in which he failed a polygraph test, or lie detector test, and confessed to their murder.
However, before confessing, Nicola’s boyfriend claimed that Shanana had killed their children after he demanded a divorce. So he killed his wife in anger. The liar claimed that he saw on the baby monitor that his daughter Bella was in bed and had a blue face. His wife had strangled Celeste. Watts got downstairs and choked her to death.
When asked what he did with the bodies, he told the police that he took three bodies, loaded them into his truck, and drove to his workplace at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. Watts hid Shanna’s corpse near two oil tanks and his daughter’s corpse in one of the oil tanks. Investigators found the missing bodies on 16 August 2018 at Anadarko Petroleum.
On 21 August 2018, the cold-blooded killer was charged with four counts of first-degree murder. He was sentenced to five life sentences without the possibility of parole following a plea agreement.
He also owed Shannan’s family $6 million, $3 million for the death, and $3 million for the pain caused to the family.
