Nathan Kress is an American actor and director, best known for his role in the Nickelodeon series iCarly. In the series, he played Freddie Benson, one of the main characters and best friends of the title “Carly”. The show was created by Dan Schneider and broadcast on Nickelodeon. It ran from 2007 to 2012 and focused on Carly Shay – a teenager who creates a very popular web show called iCarly with her best friends – Sam and Freddie. The iCarly show was a hit and turned her stars into teenage icons.
